2009 LA: 2010 Saab 9-5’s future is uncertain

If General Motors can find a buyer for Saab, the new 2010 9-5 sedan will go on sale next year. However, things are looking bad so far since Koenigsegg Group AB has backed out of buying the brand from the Detroit automaker.
It was reported yesterday that Spyker has confirmed interest in acquiring Saab from GM. If the two are unable to reach a deal by the end of December, the Swedish brand will be killed off.
