2009 LA: Mitsubishi Concept PX-MiEV

Power: 2 electric-motors at the front and rear wheels – 1.6L DOHC MIVEC gasoline engine which works as a generator.
Fuel-economy: Estimated at 118 mpg.
Production: Nothing planned yet.

Mitsubishi has yet to confirm a production version of the Concept PX-MiEV plug-in hybrid crossover, but we wouldn’t doubt the possibility. The crossover / SUV rides on Mitsubishi”s all-new S-AWC (Super All Wheel Control) system. It was reported last month that Mitsubishi may use the technology from the PX-MiEV in the next-generation Lancer Evolution.
