Nissan Qazana generating “love it or hate it” reaction, production model due in Oct. 2010

According to insiders at Nissan, the upcoming Qazana SUV is generating a “love it or hate it” reaction. The Qazana, which is due to go on sale in October 2010, is expected to kickoff a new design era for the Japanese automaker.
“The Nissan brand is going to have a more attractive and emotional appeal in the future,” one insider told AutoCar, “and the Qazana will start the process.”
The production model is reported to keep the exaggerated proportions and much of the interior of the concept shown at the Geneva Motor Show.
“We have studied the market and customers extremely closely and are sure that it will be a success,” an insider said.
Production of the Nissan Qazana will take place at the company’s Sunderland plant.
