I'd like to see it before I bought it but I'd definitely take a look. I like the utility of a five door and if the gas mileage is close to the predicted mileage of the Chevy Cruze, I'd put it in the mix of new cars I might buy. That mix includes the Civic, the Cruze, and the new Escort.
I still drive my '99 Accord because I haven't found anything substantially better enough to make me part with my money. I can afford a new car, they just have to convince me that I want one.

I like it and it will fit my needs as my wife and I prepare to have kids in the next year. However with employers paying less (even with my college degree) It likely will be priced past what us younger family makers can afford. Most of these new cars are now MSRPing at half the value of my house!

I liked the G8 and the thought of a G8 Wagon a LOT, but it was an outstanding car that GM killed off. They could have kept Pontiac badging and sold it through a Chevy dealer, the tooling was done and they owned the name. In a lot of ways I have lost hope of buying a nice family car that is not an appliance because it handles well and is actually FUN to drive.

Nice but I'd only want it if it's available in OPC form with an LNF and maybe AWD, but seeing how the Regal GS will be priced this will be in the same range as a Golf GTI = overpriced for anything other than the base model.

Yummy Mazdaesque, for those who grow rich, but don't grow up…

I prefer my 5-door to be a wagon though – something on the order of a CTS-V or a BMW wagon, not a posh Mommobile though! Gimme a GS Wagon, and give it to me NOW!

Bring back the Roadmaster Wagon with optional woodgrain exterior trim. Use the CTS Wagon platform, but make it look good. I want the Northstar V8 and RWD. I want all the noise canceling stuff and that smooth ride Buicks are known for. CAFE standards are killing off the good stuff. Everybody makes the same junk now. That car should only exist as a Mazda. I would never buy a Buick-Mazda. Never.

Bring a wagon!! Make a car for home owners; people who have occassional need for the utilitity of larger cargo spaces to haul large dogs, or landscape materials or home repair materials. Hatch backs for kids, and people who live in city apartments….sorry buick, but you are very far from this demographic. Try to capture say, 40-60 year olds before you go to 18-35.

I know it's a new model of the Astra but the body lines still scream of the recent Saturn. If they dropped the badge engineering of the Vue to the Buick then they should do the same here. Especially if they're not going to bring the Turbo Ecotec's over. And why is GM so diligent in rebadging every other platform to Buick but the Solstice/Sky cars?
