CARandDRIVER 10Best CarsThe folks over at CARandDRIVER have released their 28th running of the annual 10Best list. The editors tested 58 contenders worth $2.5 million total and logged a total of 12,000 test miles.

All 58 vehicles, which must be on sale no later than Jan. 2010 to qualify, were hidden in a secret base in southeast Michigan. The CARandDRIVER editors drove them around for a week through a long route with curves, elevation changes, apexes, first-gear corners and high-speed straights.

You can check out the list after the jump.

Accord & 3series just own this list year after year.

80% foreign and NO Toyota. HA

The only vehicles on that list that deserved to be 2010 top10s are the S4, M3, CTS-V, Mazdaspeed3 and the Cayman. I would add the E-class, Caddy SRX.

the GTI has done it again

the accord and boxter? wtf. i never understand how they make it on there….maybe when the accord redesign first came out, but now? what about the camaro or vette? i don't expect to see the 3 series ever leave that list….not that i'm saying they're biased or anything…

    GMfan87,

I don't know why anyone takes these “awards” seriously. COTY, 10 Best, etc., are all about generating ad revenue. Perhaps egmCarTech could do a poll to get readers top 10s?

As you may know, the Nissan LEAF (frog) would top my list.

Agree with GMfan87, the Camaro should have made that list. The Accord and 3-series are “old in the tooth.”
