SAAB is no different from Saturn. It is basically rebadged Opel which nobody wants to buy. Just shut it down if no one is interested. GM needs to shrink and consolidate their European operations anyway. http://bit.ly/2Lsw39

I have to think that the low sales volume of Saab is a serious deterrent to purchasing the manufacturing operations. The name has value and that may be the only thing that some company would be interested in.

When it came to being a good steward of the Saab marque, GM failed to make the Swedish tradition of auto making distinctive enough or appealing enough.

The Saab marque should be allowed to die a semi dignified death.

Wow! Too bad! GM really screwed the pooch on this one. They cooked the books on Saab making it look better than it was. Koeniggsegg (and their wealthy backers) would have been a great spiritual fit for the Swedish brand.

So, is Opel next?
