Mini Cooper JCW

BMW has confirmed that its Mini brand and Rolls-Royce brand will team up to do a special edition Mini Cooper outfitted with ultra-luxury elements. The special edition models will go into production in 2010 as 2011 model year cars but it has not yet been decided if they will be offered in the United States.

“It’s going to be for Mini fanatics and those who want something really special from Mini,” said Mini spokeswoman Nathalie Bauters. She said that if the special edition models do come to the U.S., they will be in extremely limited numbers.

Bauters said that the bodies of the special-edition models will be no different than other Mini Coopers. However, they will have special paint and a bunch of high-end interior trim elements and other luxury touches from Rolls-Royce.
