Porsche gives free $3,850 luggage set to apologize for Panamera delay

Porsche is a bit late on delivering the first batch of Panamera sedans. Apparently some 200 units have been held up at the ports while problems with the car’s key and software are being fixed.

To apologize for the delay, Porsche sent out a letter to the first 200 owners and told them that the company will throw in a free Porsche luggage set priced at $3,850.

A Porsche spokesman said that the free luggage set is away to thank customers for their patience.

As of Monday, 72 cars have been fixed and arrived at dealerships this past weekend. The remaining 123 units are expected to arrive in dealerships by Nov. 30.
