At the Essen Motor Show next weekend, German tuner 9ff is set to unveil its latest creation – the 9ff Speed9. The model, which is based on the 997 Turbo, pays homage to the Porsche 356/ 1500S Speedster of 1955.
Powered by a bi-turbo engine, the 9ff Speed9 produces a total of 650-hp and a peak torque of 654 lb-ft. The upgrades are made possible through a sports air filter, an upgraded ECU and a 9ff sports exhaust system with new catalytic converter. The engine is mated to a Tiptronic gearbox with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters.
Performance is further enhanced by adjustable stabilizers on the front and rear axles, double springs and four aluminum spring plates. Stopping power comes from 380mm brake discs, 6-piston calipers and 9ff brake pads.
No performance figures were released, so we’re hoping to hear more from Essen next week.
