Jay Leno - Tango EV

It’s super skinny and super funky – meet the Tango EV. Limited to only 11 units, Jay Leno is one lucky guy to get behind the wheel of the $150,000 electric-car. The Tango EV can apparently go from 0-60 mph in just 4 seconds with a top speed of 100 mph. Surprisingly enough, it has beaten Chevrolet Corvettes, according to its creator Rick Woodbury.

On a full charge, the Tango EV can travel 40-60 miles on a Lead-Acid battery pack or over 150 miles on a lithium-ion battery pack.

    Doesnt George Clooney own one of these? They gotta work on the look of this car...it just wont sell looking like that.

    affordable lithium-ion batteries will open the floodgates to electric cars....you watch! Then there will be those cheap Chinese battery packs that burst into flames! It will be interesting to see how they get implemented into the racing world

    Yes it looks technological but at $150k! and he wants 10k down as deposit! Give me a Tesla instead

    Moreover, since you can spit lane, would it considered as a 'motorcycle' even though it has 4 wheels?
