Chrysler’s 5-year business plan updates, what’s coming from Auburn Hills

More than 400 journalists, analysts, dealers and public officials are in Auburn Hills, Michigan today as Chrysler ’s CEO Sergio Marchionne outlines the company’s 5-year business plan. We’re gathering updates from Twitter and other sites around the web. Keep checking back for updates.

- The mid-size Dodge Dakota pickup will die for the 2011 model year. It will be replaced by a new unibody based midsize pickup of U.S. origin. – Straightline
- The Dodge Ram heavy-duty and light-duty Dodge Ram pickups will go on as planned. Modifications will come in 2012. – Straightline
- Marchionne: Chrysler has $5.7 billion in cash, up from $4 billion in June after bankruptcy, and broke even in September. - Twitter @nickbunkley
