McLaren Automotive is having some difficulty in setting up its U.S. dealer network to sell its new MP4-12C supercar. Apparently the launch of the car has been now delayed to until mid-2010.
McLaren had originally planned to show the MP4-12C at the 2009 L.A. Auto Show in December, but has now pulled out of the show altogether.
Refresher: Power comes from a 3.8L V8 twin-turbo engine producing around 600-hp mated to a 7-speed Seamless Shift dual-clutch gearbox (SSG). 0 to 60 mph is expected to come in the low 3 second range with a top seed of more than 200 mph. Sales begin in early 2011.
