Change your name to dumbguy to clarify your useless comments. I'm an Audi and BMW guy, and found the Terrain to be a surprisingly great vehicle in fit/finish, road manners and fuel economy. It could use a turbo-4 instead of the V6 for a fatter powerband, but the V6 is giving us 26mpg highway in the Chicago area. That's better than my X3 ever did and I'd rate the Terrain interior on par with any of my Bimmers. Forget the Gm fantastic-plastic, bland, putrid interiors of a few years ago; looking at our Terrain for the past 6mo the interior is still fresh, the ride still smooth and it is QUIET...better than my X3 which I still have until the lease is up. I'm planning on another Terrain when that happens so I don't have to share the other one with the wife (yes we like driving it that much). Great job, GM, and it's about time too!

Don't buy one. As someone who worked for GM for 35 years and had the opportunity to drive GM products ....The Terrain is the noisiest SUV large or small that I have ever driven even with the noise suppression system. Fuel injector noise is simply awful and I'm told it is normal!! Road noise is even worse. Dealership won't even attempt to help. GM hasn't changed and even though the vehicle appears to be nice it isn't fun to drive and certainly doesn't perform as promised. All of this at only 863 miles!
