After seeing this spy shot taken by a reader of IndianAutosBlog.com, we can confirm that GM is indeed working on the rumored Chevrolet Cruze Wagon and the development is well underway.

The 2011 Chevrolet Cruze sedan will arrive on the stateside in spring 2010. It is already available in Europe and parts of Asia. No word on when the Chevrolet Cruze wagon will make its debut.

Update: WorldCarFans just emailed saying that the picture you see above is indeed a fake. Sorry to get you guys all excited about a station wagon. Here’s the original picture.
