2010 Lexus LF-A Spotted in Miami

The 2009 Tokyo Motor Show will open its doors to the press in a couple of hours (given the time difference) and the Lexus LF-A will make its official debut in less than six hours. However, thanks to the Internet we get our first look way ahead of the scheduled released thanks to NAGTROC.

Power is expected to come from a 4.8L V10 engine making 550-hp.

Come back later for the full press release and high-res pictures. For now enjoy this short video and some low-res photos.

Where did all the pretty concepts go?

The video emphasizes the all the right attributes! The car looks soo alien and spectacular--much like a Lamborghini should--crazy and unrestrained.

Form follows function with the slats, hood scoops, and golf holes. The interior is strictly Japanese with those funky shapes and those high-tech screens. I am amazed by a 9,000 rpm red-line.

Nice work from Lexus, but still not quite there. I'd take the R8 over this
  • Im sure its fast, but the design doesnt flow at all, at least not in these pics. Curious to see it in color other than white.

THAT sounds AMAZING! good job Lexus you just might impress us this time around

Looks pretty interesting. These photos give a much better feel for the proportions of the car. This could be a big leap forward for the usually boring Lexus design statement.
