what is the dash made out of?? i have read that it was leather on all models, but when i looked at a cxl (leather seats) the dash seemed to be a much cheaper material than the seats…it doesnt look or feel anything like the seats….so, is it leather or pleather??????
also, i have noticed that ALL advertising says that the 3.0 has 255 hp and the 3.6 has 280…but when looking online at the car stickers(locally anyway), they say that the 3.0 has 250 hp while the 3.6 has 290hp…which is correct????

I think it's interesting that the central display is dot matrix and not color. I also see that the engineers at GM still enjoy putting “crap catching” shifters in their cars. In case you're wondering what a “crap catching” shifter is, I refer to any part of a car that can not be easily cleaned and will over time accumulate a large amount of dirt as “crap catching”. This includes pet/human hair, food, dust, change, lint, etc…

Good luck trying to sell one of these in 5 years.

Dare I say it looks a bit more luxurious and better than a 5-Series? I'm just not a fan of how the new 5-Series looks but everyone has their own opinion. What are your thoughts?

As for the 2010 Buick LaCrosse CXS, coolest standard options include remote start, an upgraded Harman/Kardon 11-speaker sound system and 8-way power heated and cooled leather seats for the driver and passenger.

I also like the fact that both side-view mirrors tilt downward when you're parallel parking.

Acceleration and handling are on par. 0-60 mph comes in at 7.4 seconds. Don't expect the LaCroose to handle like a BMW 5-Series but with a vehicle that's competing with the Lexus ES, Acura TL and the Lincoln MKZ (or MKS) the LaCrosse definitely handles favorably well.
