2010 Cadillac SRX

It’s that time of the year again – when Motor Trend picks the “Motor Trend SUV of the Year” for the year 2010. Last year’s award went to the 2009 Subaru Forester. It seems as though this year, Motor Trend has focused most of its attention on luxury SUVs. Either way, stay tuned for the winner who will get all the bragging rights in their new ad campaigns.

That's exactly what I was thinking. If anything I think the GMC Terrain and the Toyota 4Runner have the best chance.

Isn't a contest to name the best SUV seem a bit useless. Especially when there will also be a car and truck COTY winner. MT and the manufacturer are the winners with cross promotion and the consumers are none the wiser.
