The 2009 LA Auto Show press days will kick off on Dec. 2nd and Ford has a lot planned with debuting the US-spec Fiesta. According to FoxNews.com, the automaker will also provide details on the powertrain upgrades for the 2011 Ford Mustang.

So far it’s been rumored that the base 2011 Ford Mustang will carry a 3.7L V6 making 315-hp, while the 2011 Mustang GT will get a 5.0L naturally-aspirated V8 making 400-hp. There are no plans to add Ford’s new EcoBoost technology to the Mustang lineup.
