2010 Honda Accord Crosstour

Honda today released interior images of the all-new and all-controversial 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour.

“The interior design is intended to enhance the feeling of width and space in the passenger cabin while creating a premium and accommodating atmosphere, says Honda. “The inset sculpting of the instrument panel along with a wide center console increases the sense of roominess.”

The 5-passenger interior features an innovative rear-storage area which creates an 8-inch deep under-floor Hidden Removable Utility Box with a reversible lid. Levers near the interior fender provide access from the tailgate opening, allowing for one-touch conversion of the seats into the floor for additional cargo space.

Power comes from a 3.5L V6 making 268-hp with a maximum torque of 248 lb-ft. The engine will be mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission. No 4-cylinder option will be offered for the 2010 Accord Crosstour.

Sales of the 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour will begin in November. Pricing details will be announced closer to launch.

From the 3/4 rear, it looks kind of like a ugly Chevy Volt…All around, it still makes me nauseous.

Someone needs to clear this up – is it the Crosstour or the Crosstard?

I honestly don't think it looks that bad to be honest. It is less attractive then the Venza, but its not that bad looking
