2010 GMC Terrain Test-Drive Updates: A walk around the exterior

2010 GMC Terrain (Weekly-Test Drive)

We are spending our last three days with the 2010 GMC Terrain and so far we are pretty impressed with GM’s new compact crossover (which also includes the recently tested 2010 Chevrolet Equinox). Today we’re going to give you a little walk around the exterior of the new 2010 Terrain.

“We wanted to carve the GMC Terrain away from the pack and establish its identity as a powerful, fresh crossover SUV with a confident and strong stance,” said John Cafaro Jr., director of exterior design, Global Crossover Vehicles. “Everything about the Terrain communicates a sense of tailored toughness and passionate craftsmanship.”

Powerful, confident and strong are definitely the words we would use to describe the exterior of the 2010 GMC Terrain; however, some may disagree with us. While some may like the bold styling and others may shy away from it.

If you opt for the SLT model (ours is an SLE), your 2010 Terrain will get a three-element grille accented by chrome surrounds. All Terrain models feature rectangular housings with chrome accents for the fog lamps and headlamps.

Make sure you ask us all the questions you want about the 2010 Terrain before it goes back on Thursday. For a quick reply – send us a Tweet.
