Chevrolet Camaro outsells Ford Mustang for fourth consecutive month, enters Top 20 list for Sept.

After outselling the Ford Mustang for the third-consecutive month last month, the new 2010 Chevrolet Camaro has done it again in September with a total of 7,961 units sold. FoMoCo sold a total of 4,917 units of the Ford Mustang.

In fact, the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro made it in to the Top 20 vehicles list for September, according to Autodata Corp. The Pontiac G6 came in ahead with a total of 8,097 units sold.

During the month of August, General Motors sold 8,680 units of the Camaro and FoMoCo sold 6,289 units of the Mustang.

    Camaro is the one, tiny (and 8,700 units is tiny) bright spot for GM. Will the Vapor be GM's salvation?

    GM certainly appears to be putting all of their eggs in the Vapor basket.
