I bought the 2.0L sedan model…I love it and it's too fun to drive but, man that engine is thirsty. I do have a heavy foot sometimes but getting 12L/100 km out of it constantly…that wrong.

Don't know what the folks at Mazda were thinking when they designed this car. It looks… well, horrible. Regardless, I purchased this car because it did “feel” good and felt solid. Got into a fender bender not too long ago (more of a bender really) and as a result it turns out the frame is bent! Did Mazda ever skimp on materials with this car! Sure there are more gizmos in it than in previous models, but it's not as solid as it may look. Total damage estimate is 1/3 the purchase price of the vehicle and it wasn't a significant crash either. Awful!

The original 3 had an ultra-bland design? Really? I don't think that description could be more off base. The 2010 exterior is a clear step backward from the previous model. But compared to the competition, the 3 is still a clear winner.

I don't get teh styling for this car. To me, the front of the car looks odd. The “smile” is a styling feature that I can't get past. Is it supposed to appeal to women?

Better recheck the MPG. I think it's 29 HWY. I wish it was 39!

I would definitely pick this over the corolla and the civic. I drove one of these and it's surprising how nice and tight the steering is
