I think Hyundai would make a huge mistake by not having a V-6 engine option on the new 2011 Sonata. I own a 2008 Sonata with the V-6 engine and really do enjoy the extra power when I need it, plus it's a much smoother running engine than the 4-cyl. Again, sad news if Hyundai doesn't offer the V-6, all other mid-size cars do.

Sadly, the word is that the beautiful red Sonata pictured above is a fake...The white one is the one coming to our shores.

They most likely already plan to add the V6 after the first year...But that is one HOT red Sonata!!! Though I kind of prefer the grille of the white(Korean) model.

Yes I think that would be a mistake considering their recent advancements in sales. The car looks upscale enough so having a V6 option just seems natural. Maybe they want to push V6 sales to Azera and Genesis?

Interesting ... even tho the Accord/Camry sell most of their units w/ the 4 banger they still offer a v6 ... I think that I read somewhere that ~3/4 of their sales are v6s. Anyhow, odd that Hyundai would not want to compete on that level since they are in the midst of their Toyota-esque conquer the world ...
