According to Bentley, the new Mulsanne sedan will set the standard for luxury for years to come. Insiders told AutoExpress that the Mulsanne will also spawn a family of new models including a coupe and convertible.
Sources say that Bentley is also planning fresh replacements for both the Brooklands and Azure based on the newcomer.
Power from the Bentley Mulsanne comes from a 6.75L twin-turbocharged V8 engine making 505-hp with a peak torque of 725 lb-ft. It will be mated to a ZF 8-speed automatic.
Don’t expect to see the convertible or coupe version of the Mulsanne for at least a couple of years.
