Drew Barrymore - Green Car Challenge

Last week we got our first look at Jay Leno’s Ford Focus battery electric vehicle that will be used in his new shows Green Car Challenge. As mentioned before, Drew Barrymore would kick off the Green Car Challenge and we now have a video of her “racing” around the mini track.

Refresher: Power comes from a “permanent magnetic electric motor” making 141-hp and a maximum torque of 236 lb-ft. It is mated to a single-speed gearbox, MacPherson-type struts on the front suspension and Independent short-long arm (SLA), control blade multi-link system in the back.

    Having now watched this video I now know that I don't need to watch Jay Leno's show ever again.
