Just this morning Ford released details of the new battery electric Focus that will take place tonight on Jay Leno’s new self-named show during the Green Car Challenge segment. Ford has now released a video of the electric Focus in action.

Refresher: Power comes from a “permanent magnetic electric motor” making 141-hp and a maximum torque of 236 lb-ft. It is mated to a single-speed gearbox, MacPherson-type struts on the front suspension and Independent short-long arm (SLA), control blade multi-link system in the back.
