2009 Frankfurt: 2010 Toyota Land Cruiser

- Key Competitors: Chevrolet Suburban, Chevrolet Tahoe, GMC Yukon, Chrysler Aspen, Honda Pilot.
- Engine: 171-hp 3.0L D-4D diesel for UK only; 4.0L V6 dual VVT-i gasoline for other markets.
- Pricing/Availability: UK sales begin later this year.

The 2010 Toyota Land Cruiser made its public debut yesterday in Frankfurt. A 5-door model with 7-seats will exclusively go on sale in the UK later in 2009. Other markets will get a 3-door model, which will be offered with a 4.0L V6 dual VVT-i gasoline engine. U.S. availability details have yet to be confirmed.

The Land Cruiser gets a new feature called Multi-terrain Select for 2010. The system automatically controls power and braking to optimize performance for different types of off-road conditions.

    You guys do know that there are 2 Land Cruisers right? That this is the small one? Same as the Lexus GX? Not sold in the US, where the big one is sold?
