2009 Frankfurt: 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate (Wagon) comes to Frankfurt

– Key Competitors: BMW 5-Series Touring, Audi A6 Avant, Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon.
– Engines: U.S. will only get the E350 4Matic. 3.5L V6 making 272-hp.
– Transmission: 7-speed automatic.
– Fuel-economy: 23 mpg.
– Pricing: TBA. Sales begin in the middle of 2010.

Joining the 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedan and E-Class Coupe in Frankfurt this year is the E-Class Estate – or better known to us Americans as the E-Class station-wagon. The North American market will only get the E350 4Matic model, which is powered by a 272-hp V6.

Oh, by the way, the E 63 AMG has been released too, we’ll get to that when things tone down in Frankfurt first. Stay tuned.
