The smell of desperation is in the air and it smells just like an open pit outhouse in the August sun.

C4C was to be a big win for the government owned GM, but it didn't go that way. Being 20% down in August from a year earlier when Ford showed an increase of 17% for the same period certainly requires action, but even buying a car based on a 60 day guarantee (certain restrictions apply) still requires buyers from most other brands to lower their expectations.

Finally, I always get a laugh out of those attempts to lure people into the showroom by showing glimpses of the future. Is this attempting to say: "Buy our shitty cars today and, BTW, look how much better the future will look"? Or is it : "If you can hold out a bit longer we will be selling these (hopefully) amazing cars"?
