In the 17 years I had it the batteries lasted 13 years, I never broke down once out of my driveway. I only put 103K mi. on it . Never replaced the clutch; and because of it's age and being a target for NYS DOT. I sold it to someone who had one at a farm market. It Still runs and is parked next to a friend,another Euro, like and old dog. The new owner said that I can visit it or sleep by it if I want.
