I believe the Ducato will be offered in the American market in a "scudato" (bare chassis) version, more intended to the step-van segment (and maybe coachbuilding), avoiding the Chicken Tax and having a design more suitable to the average Joe's design preferences.

I was teased about my Iveco Euro 110, because it was a fiat and had a funny seating arangement; but I sold it four years ago. In the 17 years I had it the batteries lasted 13 years, I never broke down once out of my driveway. I only put 103K mi. on it . Never replaced the clutch; and because of it's age and being a target for NYS DOT. I sold it to someone who had one at a farm market. It Still runs and is parked next to a friend, another Euro, like and old dog. The new owner said that I can visit it or sleep by it if I want.

FIAT - Failure in Italian Automotive Technology
FIAT - Fix It Again Tony

I will take a Sprinter any day over the Ducato if I needed a commercial vehicle. Hopefully MB will sell them out of their network here in North America

seems that Fiat has somewhat neutralized MB's termination of the Sprinter line, but not all of it. With Sprinter availability ending January, how long will it be before Fiat can replace the product pipeline?
