2010 Ford Taurus SHO (Weekly Test-Drive)

From here on forth, we’re going to be calling our “Press Car of the Week” feature the “Weekly Test-Drive” – we just thought it sounds better and attracts more attention. Moving forward, we just took delivery of the 2010 Ford Taurus SHO last night and we’re very excited about getting behind the new Taurus and the new SHO.

That’s right, I am enjoying myself some 3.5L twin-turbocharged EcoBoost power. The V6 pumps out a whopping 365-hp and a peak torque of 350 lb-ft. Mated to a 6-speed 6F55 SelectShift transmission (with paddle-shifters) and a sophisticated all-wheel-drive system, the 2010 Taurus SHO goes from 0 to 60 mph in about 5 seconds with a top speed of 131 mph. Prices start at $37,170.

I’ll be answering all your questions about the 2010 Ford Taurus SHO throughout the week, so make sure you throw them in the comments section below after the jump or send me a tweet on our Twitter account. Stay tuned for daily updates.

Oh my! that baby looks sweet! I haven't seen any new Taurus models on the road yet….are you guys getting good feedback from people just asking about it?

As far as I know, the Lincoln MKS also has the same push-button start but there is a slot above the button to insert the key fob… I see the button for the Taurus but is there a slot or does it just sense the key?

Will you be testing the difference between running it on regular vs. premium gas? I've yet to see any numbers on that.
