We do our best to stay simple and away from flashy stuff. We hardly ever have any flash videos or anything playing on our front pages and require the reader to click through to view videos if they want. We are def not fans of flash and waiting to load.

PS: Definitely agree about Audi's new site..Too many bells and whistles. Thanks for your input. Much appreciated.

Please don't follow the mainstream and make your website even slower loading than it already is. For me, and I presume many others, this website foremost brings information. If I wanted Flash-this-and-that, I can click further for nice pictures/slideshows/video's and Flash-nonsense, but please make this optional and not mandatory.

Take the new Audi-website for instance: it used to be a great website, but now I can speak to a Customer Representative before the webpage has loaded fully, seriously! I am not going there, simply because of that (are you listening, Audi?). My laptop is fairly quick and my DSL is not the fastest, but not bad either, so I think this represents many others' configuration.

If you guys want more Flash badly, and do not want to make it a-click-away every time, then please provide the option of a fast-version and a slow-version when passing your mainpage; many thanks!

Ivan, we'll def do our best with the less advertising request but we'll make sure that they blend in well with the site so they don't take over everything.

I wish I could help you with figuring out where Bobmarley is but if you look to the right under The egmCarTech Community - you have overtaken him as the top commenter on the site.
