Eberhard drops lawsuit against Tesla Motors and Musk

Electric-car fans, or more so Tesla Motors fans, can now rejoice. The electric-car maker’s former CEO Martin Eberhard has voluntarily requested that his lawsuit against the company and its new CEO, Elon Musk, be dropped.
Eberhard requested that the suit be dropped on Aug. 7, according to his lawyer Yosef Peretz. Peretz declined to comment on the issue and said that more will become public about the case in September.
Eberhard originally filed a lawsuit against Tesla Motors and Elon Musk, claiming that Musk had defamed him, had received a damaged Tesla Roadster, was owed wages and that Musk was taking credit for founding the company when Eberhard was the original founder.
