2010 Chevrolet Equinox Test Drive

- Starting MSRP comes in at $23,184: Our 2010 Equinox FWD 1LT was priced at $24,600.
- EPA fuel-economy estimates rate the 2010 Equinox at 22/32 mpg (city/highway): We’ve averaged a combined fuel-economy of 22 mpg over the week.
- Key competitors include the Honda CR-v, Toyota RAV-4 and Ford Escape: The 2010 Chevrolet Equinox with a 2.4L 4-cylinder gets better highway fuel-economy than all of its competitors – even better than the Ford Escape Hybrid (which gets an EPA estimated 22/28 mpg with prices starting at $31,500).

    appears that on several sites, that the Chevy Equinoix is falling a couple mpg short of the mpg that Chevy is touting,

    I can see 1 mpg more or less, but it seems to be more like 3-4 mpg all less,

    So are the numbers for mpg inflated or just done under the best conditions possible to sell a car on mileage
