Toyota Corolla

Earlier this morning we told you that Toyota has passed GM as the top manufacturer of the most vehicles purchased under the Cars Allowance Rebate System. We also told you that Toyota’s Corolla is the No.1 new vehicle being purchased for a traded-in clunker.

In fact, after looking at the top 10 list of new vehicles purchased under the Cash for Clunkers program, we noticed that there are only two American made cars on the list, the Ford Focus and the Ford Escape. Toyota and Honda both hold 3 spots each on the Top 10.

Honda’s Civic pushed the Ford Focus to the No.3 spot as of Friday

Take a look at the list after the jump.
