Suzuki Kizashi hybrid coming in 2011

Suzuki, which has been urged by analyst to forget about the North American market, is planning to start introducing gasoline-electric hybrid cars in the region in 2011 to meet growing demand for fuel-efficient cars.
Along with a 4-cylinder and V6 model, Suzuki will add a hybrid system to the Kizashi sedan. According to Japan’s Nikkei newspaper, Suzuki plans to use a hybrid system it co-developed with General Motors Company.
GM, which first invested in Suzuki in 1981, is also looking to develop fuel-cell vehicles with the Japanese automaker.
The 2010 Suzuki Kizashi sedan will go on sale in the U.S. later this winter with prices to start around the high-teens to $20k.
