2010 Chevrolet Equinox 1LT FWD Test-Drive Update: A walk around the exterior
Yesterday, we gave you a little peek inside one of our press cars for the week – the 2010 Chevrolet Equinox. Today we’re going to walk you though the exterior of GM’s new crossover.
The 2010 Chevrolet Equinox’s exterior design is a mixture of the successful Malibu sedan and Traverse crossover. It features Chevrolet’s signature two-tier grille and prominent gold bowtie. The Equinox has strong fender shapes, a distinctive premium roofline and wraparound headlamps. The only thing we aren’t fans of are the tail-lamps.
As for yesterday’s comment by writeb, we are not driving the Equinox as enthusiasts. We are not accelerating hard or switching lanes like we’re in a BMW. However, we are driving regularly day-to-day and are not afraid to stomp on the accelerator when needed – we also have the AC since we’re having 90+ degrees here in NJ. Basically, we’re driving the car as an everyday owner of the Equinox would for a total of 30 miles or more daily. Fuel-economy currently stands at 22.1 mpg.
