Taking a break from all the GM news today we’re going to bring you some news from the supercar world. The folks at PistonHeads apparently ran into some Aston Martin test-drivers on a trip to the Nurburgring. Besides seeing the Aston Martin Rapide, the Aston Martin drivers were hanging out with a DBS prototype.

While the group remained tight-lipped about the car, Nurburgring sources are saying that Aston Martin is working on a hardcore version of the DBS. Think of it as an “R” type package with a bunch of performance upgrades and sleeker looks. If sources are to be believed, you can expect some suspension and power upgrades.

Will it happen? Only time will tell.
