GMC Acadia

All morning, we’ve been hearing about the Chevrolet Volt, Cadillac’s future sedans and Buick’s new crossover and mid-sized sedan – but what about the fourth core brand of General Motors Company? The one that produces pickups, SUVs and crossovers – GMC.

According to sources, GM is considering a Denali version of the Acadia Crossover for next year. Apparently, the Denali Acadia will pose no threat to its platform sibling, the Buick Enclave, since the target audience is totally different. According to GMC general manager Susan Docherty, Acadia buyers are a decade older than the Enclave buyers.

Other than that, GMC showed a small boxy crossover concept. Apparently, GMC believes there is a desire for a “premium” entry to compete with the likes of the Honda Element and the Scion xB.
