Female BMW drivers wear sexy lingerie: According to a study by Carmony.co.uk, a used car seller in the United Kingdom, BMW female drivers wear sexy lingerie. Keep in mind that the study is based on the UK demographic so it may not apply to the rest of the world; nonetheless, it’s still quite amusing. The study also found that women are more likely to name their cars and that Mini Cooper drivers are the least likely to work out. – BMW Blog

Advertising does not depart at all from the stereotypical BMW buyer. A self-centered, image conscious guy who would treat a woman like an object. It's sad to see that this is how low they value a female.

As the owner of multiple BMWs and the owner of multiple Minis I found the photo and story to be funny.My wife found the photo to be funny.

I have been a member of BMW Car Club of America in the Chicago area since 1984 and I am happy to call many of those people my friends. The Chicago chapter is driving event oriented and I wouldn't think that these guys and women are anything like JVC depicts. These are all people you would like to have as your neighbor - mostly because these people are open to meeting new people, always willing to help, enjoy competition and are fun to hang out with.

JVC qualifies his comment with the word "stereotypical" and I am ok this qualification as I have close friends that are members of Porsche's club and the Corvette club and they don't fit the stereotype for those marques, either.

I tend to believe that people that group all owners of a given marque into a stereotype or believe a stereotype to be accurate are envious of those people. Envy is such a waste of emotion.
