Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Nurburgring

As we patiently wait for Mercedes-Benz to release official details and high-res images of the SLS AMG, we must kill time by enjoying information on the electric version of the supercar, a video of the SLS AMG circling the Nurburgring from the driver’s point-of-view and the leaked SLS AMG ordering guide.

Today we have a video showing us two SLS AMG prototypes hanging around Nurburgring – ending with both of them taking on the famous Nordschleife track (one of them lapping the track with the SL 65 AMG Black Series).

Power comes from a hand-built 6.3L V8 making 563-hp with a maximum torque of 479 lb-ft, mated to a 7-speed AMG dual-clutch transmission. 0 to 62 mph comes in 3.8 seconds with a top speed of 196 mph.

Make the jump for the video.
