Does Schumacher have that much time? Stig makes photo copy of helmet in the background of episode 2

The Stig

It’s obviously a bit unbelievable that Michael Schumacher is The Stig. We doubt that Schumacher really has that much time to travel with Hammond, Clarkson and May around the world as they test-drive some of the world’s hottest cars – leading us to believe that there is actually more than one Stig.

While I was catching up on Season 13, I noticed the Stiggy making a photo copy of his helmet in the episode 2. Watch closely and you’ll see Stig walk up behind Hammond and make a copy of his head.

I highly doubt Schumacher has time to film such things.

    yeah MS i probably not the stig but i believe he did the power lap with ferrari fxx. how else would they get their hands on one?

    I bet they got michael to become the stig for that episode due to 3 possible reasons, and they are as follows:

    1) The FXX is a limited production, high restriction car, where the owner can only drive it at Ferrari race tracks and events and it is parked at the ferrari facilities 24/7. So to get one on the show, they will need to find a owner who can get the car out and be able to drive it at a NON-Ferrari facilitated course. Who better to ask than Schume?! He is pratically the technical creator of the FXX and he has his own FXX. So thats probably the only way to get it down at the TG track.
    2) Ferrari would most likely want the FXX to be on the very TOP of the TG quick laps- which it did by an amazing time which I doubt will be beaten in the next 10 yrs. This is also probably why they let Michael run it as the STIG to get the top numbers
    3) The STIG rumour has been out for way to long as to who exactly is the STIG, so letting Michael take the role of the STIG would surprise everyone and create this “aftermath” speculation which will run on till next season. Cuz we all have our own conspiracy theories to keep the show attractive.
