2009 Nissan Cube looks different from one side: We’re just wrapping up our test drive of the 2009 Nissan Cube. One significant fact we’d like to point out about the exterior of the car is that it looks completely different from the rear-passenger side. Have any questions about the 2009 Nissan Cube? Feel free to ask and I will address them as soon as possible.

  • It is interesting that you point out that the rear-passenger side looks different from the rest of the vehicle which I also noticed in a recent Toyota commercial. I don't know if that is a good thing or not

Thanks for the update on gas mileage. How about giving your top 2 most favorite things about the Cube and your 2 biggest criticisms?
  • Jim,

I would say the my 2 favorite things about the Nissan Cube are the drive and the features. The 122-hp 4-cylinder gives the Cube a very peppy and solid feel when coupled with the CVT. The car features bluetooth, keyless entry, keyless start, ipod connectivity and voice activated controls, which were all very convenient.

Two things I like least about the car are the design and the the fact I only averaged 25.6 mpg when I returned the car to Nissan today. I have to say it's either a love it or hate it design - people either love the car or think its absolutely hideous - there is no in between. As for the gas-mileage - Nissan says that the 2009 Cube averages 28/30 (city/highway). I drove it normally without speeding and averaged 25.6 mpg, which was a little disappointing.

I'll be posting a full review at the end of next week.
