Actually Steedpub is right. They are charging $5,000. over MSRP. That is what they informed me when I went to my local dealer to order one. Said one man even paid $10,000.00 over MSRP for one straight off the trailer. And they won't even allow you to test drive the car. I didn't place an orderto say the least. Greedy dealers are the main reason GM is hurting like they are.

Agreed with zermatt, wait until production matches it.

Another thing: Steedpub, I've looked at Camaros recently, $500 is about right. Some of the better options packages are up to $1000, but most are below $500, so I guess it averages out.

Still, units selling over MSRP aren't good for the brand in the long run. The dealers are pocketing that $500, not the manufacturer, and GM doesn't need clients who will say "they overcharged me for my car" next time around.

Patience Grasshopper, Camaros will be $100 over dealer invoice in a couple of months when production catches up.

Just no reason to pay too much.
