Report: Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe to replace the CLC in 2011

The Mercedes-Benz CLK badge has been officially dropped from the Stuttgart automakers lineup and has been replaced with the 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe. According to the guys over at Auto Motor und Sport, Mercedes-Benz is now planning a dedicated C-Class Coupe model due out in 2011.
The Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe will join the C-Class lineup as a third variant alongside the sedan and the CLC, which has a fairly feminine reputation. But the CLC won’t stick around forever; Mercedes-Benz will say bye to the eleven year-old C-Class hatchback in when the coupe arrives in 2011.
We’re guessing Mercedes-Benz may also plan a C-Class Convertible to compete with the BMW 3-Series Convertible, Lexus IS C Convertible and the Infiniti G37 Convertible.
