We’ve been hearing rumors about Volkswagen offering a redesign to the Phaeton flagship sedan for quite some time now. According to Evo, before Volkswagen brings out a redesign the Phaeton it will offer a facelifted model.Visual upgrades will include a new front bumper, new grille and headlight units and slightly redesigned taillights. Sources say that Volkswagen may offer a huge V10 or V12 TDI.

As for the redesign, don’t keep your hopes up for anything until 2011.
