Jesse James breaks hydrogen land-speed record

Late afternoon yesterday, Jesse James set the world record for the fastest run in a hydrogen-powdered vehicle. Jesse James rode across the El Mirage dry lake bed in the California desert at 199.712 mph.
James came in 14 mph faster than the previous record of 185 mph. That record was set in Germany by BMW in its hydrogen-powered H2H.
“This, I honestly believe, is world-changing,” James said . “We can’t rely on gasoline forever. I’m paying it forward. We don’t have to be dorks to make things environmentally friendly.”
The epic run will be shown on the season-finale episode of James’s TV show, Jesse James is a Dead Man. It will air on August 9th at 10 p.m. on Spike TV network.
