Carbon Motors gets 10,000 reservations for E7 Police Car

Carbon Motors announced Wednesday that it has received more than 10,000 reservations for its E7 Police Car, making being chased by cops just a little more exciting. The company said that it plans to announce where it will base its headquarters and manufacture the Carbon E7 later this summer.
The Carbon E7 is powered by a 3.0L turbo-diesel that makes a total of 300-hp. The engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission that helps it go from 0 to 60 mph time of 6.5 seconds and a top speed of 155 mph. The E7 returns an estimated combined fuel-economy between 28 to 30 mpg.
Expected release dater for the E7 is scheduled for 2012.
