1,500,000th Chevrolet Corvette rolls off the assembly line

The 1.5 millionth Corvette: 2009 Corvette Convertible

Along with the pricing details for the 2010 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport, GM announced today that the 1,500,000th Corvette has rolled of the line at its Bowling Green Assembly.

“The 1.5 millionth Corvette is a great example of how Chevy is America’s Brand,” Karen Rafferty, Chevrolet Product Marketing Director, said. “For nearly 60 years we have built America’s Sports Car and this milestone is a solid proof point.”

The 1.5 million Corvette, produced on May 28, is a white convertible 3LT with a red interior and a black top.

The first Corvette rolled off the line on June 30, 1953.
