2012 Buick Enclave Clay Model

A replacement for the horrific minivan based Rendezvous, the Buick Enclave made its market debut in May 2007 and every since, GM has yet to offer a major redesign for the Lambda platform based SUV.

During a special interview with GM’s Ed Welburn on CBS News, a clay model of an SUV was spotted sitting next to the new 2010 Buick LaCrosse. While the camera was panning around the LaCrosse and the clay model Welburn said “That’s what a Buick should be – every line is like an artist’s brush stroke.”

While it’s not confirmed, it can be said that the clay model hints at the future design of the 2012 Buick Enclave (we’re pretty sure that’s what it is). Either way, it looks pretty nice and has us excited to see what the Buick brand becomes under the ‘New GM.’
